Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan Merchant Navy Jobs:

Nationality:

The only people who can apply are those who hold the nationality of Pakistan; however, individuals from FATA, Gilgit Baltistan, AJK, and Balochistan can also apply.

Marital Status & Gender:

The only citizens of Pakistan who are eligible to apply are single men.

Age Limit:

The age restriction shouldn’t be more than 20 as of December 31, 2024, while candidates from ATA, Gilgit Baltistan, AJK, and Balochistan should be 21 as of the same day.

Educational requirement:

Applicants who pass the HSSC with a minimum of 55% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics at the O/L Level or Pre-Engineering are eligible. Those who are awaiting their results may still apply, but they must be able to present their hope certificate.

• The prospectus and application form are available from PMA Head Office and on the organization’s official website, www.marineacademy.edu.pk.
• Candidates must deliver a pay order or bank draft for Rs. 3500 to the Pakistan Marine Academy NBP Branch (Code0293).
• Candidates using self-financing must submit a payment order or bank draft for Rs. 300,000 in order to be considered.
• Should candidates be chosen on the basis of open merit, the self-finance cost is refunded.
• The National Testing Service will administer entrance exams in Karachi, Sukkur, Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Quetta, Gwadar, and AJK.
• Candidates must receive 45% of the possible points to pass the entrance exam.
• The CMH/PNS will host the candidates’ medical examination.
• The application deadline is September 6, 2024.
